Two Waverley members, Wendy and Rosemary, are also very active with the Cranbourne Combined Quilters. Wendy designed this stunning colorwash banner and Rosemary designed the appliqué elements and project managed the team of six quilters. The banner measures 4m by 2m and consists of 4,888 2″ squares. The group successfully applied for a Department of Veteran Affairs for a Anzac Centenary Local Grant and the completed work was presented to the Cranbourne RSL today.
