Theme: Botanical Beauty
THE CHALLENGE
The ‘Botanical Beauty’ challenge is a fabulous opportunity to try a quilting technique, sew up a piece of your favourite fabric, art, scrap, modern, traditional quilt, embroidery or felt/woollen, etc. The design is totally up to you! This Challenge is open to all Waverley Patchworkers members.
RULES FOR ENTRY
The Quilt must be three layers and follow the ‘Botanical Beauty’ theme
SIZE – Finished quilt must fit inside boundaries of an A3 sized piece of paper (29.7cm X 42cm)
SHAPE – Any shape you like as long as it fits within the size. No rod pocket needed.
TECHNIQUE – Anything or any media is suitable as long as the finished work has three layers.
ENTRY FORM
On pages 11 and 12 of the March Newsletter or download form below. To enter the Challenge, fill in your name and contact details, tick the box labelled ‘Botanical Beauty’ Challenge (no further information required). Complete the declaration and White Glove duty.
Entry forms no later than Monday 17 April.
Challenge quilts can be delivered to Trudi Byers at the Monthly Meeting or with your quilts by 12pm Friday 1 May 2026.
Judging is by Viewers Choice.The announcement will be at 3pm on Sunday 3 May at the Mulgrave Community Centre
