Waverley Patchworkers shine at the 30th Quilt Showcase, by Victorian Quilters, which was held from 9–12 September at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, bringing together an impressive collection of quilts from talented makers across Victoria and beyond.
As a proud member group of Victorian Quilters, Waverley Patchworkers was once again well represented, with several of our members entering their beautiful quilts and receiving well-deserved recognition.
It was wonderful to see the creativity, skill and dedication of our Waverley members celebrated on such a prestigious stage. From traditional patchwork and appliqué through to contemporary and art quilts, the Showcase demonstrated the incredible diversity of quilting today.

We are particularly proud to see our members recognised for their design, workmanship, quilting and creativity. Every quilt entered represents many hours of planning, stitching and dedication, and being selected for exhibition is an achievement in itself.
The Victorian Quilters Quilt Showcase is Victoria’s premier members’ quilt exhibition and is designed to encourage quilters at all levels, from novice to experienced makers, to enter their work.
A huge congratulations to all our Waverley Patchworkers entrants and award winners.Your quilts are a wonderful showcase of the enthusiasm, creativity and talent that makes our group so special.
