Quilt Show 2018 is nearly here

The first weekend in June, at the Mulgrave Community Centre. Mark it on your calendar now.

There will be over 100 quilts on display. Every style and technique you can imagine. From bright and bold stunners from beginner quilters, to painstakingly created glories.
Scrap, appliqué, art quilts; whole cloth, traditional, pictorial, modern; favourite patterns, friendly challenges, original designs. Quilts inspired by life events or made because we love making them. Quilts made for children. Quilts designed/made by children!

Bring your friends who don’t yet understand your passion for patchwork and quilting. They can sign up for beginner classes that will be happening in the weeks following the show. Then you can have someone to raid your stash and help you keep it under control.

Speaking of stashes. There are six shops in attendance and we are very proud that they are all members of Waverley Patchworkers. Lily Patches, Sewn and Quilted, Mrs Martin’s Quilt Shop, Palm Beach Quilting, The Patchwork Teahouse and The Quilter’s Closet.
Keep an eye out here for some news of what they are bringing to the show.

Still not sure?

Here is a sneak peek of some of the quilts that will be on display.

Full details of challenge, entry, venue, parking etc are on the Quilt Show 2018 page
