The Patchwork Tea House pops up in Waverley

Many a quilter and scone lover shed a quiet tear when they heard Marilyn and Gary were closing the doors at their delightful shop. Things brightened up again at the news that their business The Patchwork Tea House continues, online and at shows. (Gary’s scone recipe is on their Facebook page.)

Marilyn is a ten year plus member of Waverley and despite just finishing the packing after the big sale in Warburton, she will be bringing lots of new goodies and specials to her shop at the show. Keen to promote local talent, she has recently added Yarra Valley stitcher Katrina Webber to her stable of designers. The beautiful patterns and kits will be at the shop and hopefully a new sample – orders will be taken.

If you are still missing the scones, the freshly made ones at Quilt Show Cafe are every bit as good.
