One month to go

It is only a month before the doors open for the Waverley Patchworkers Quilt Show. Entries are in and over the next month you will be able to have a sneak peek of what is on offer here. Update! The show opens on Saturday!

One of the special displays is from the Appliqué Special Interest Group which meets on the  first Thursday afternoon each month. The ladies have a passion for appliqué in its many forms and for the Quilt Show they have completed a challenge. This was to make an appliqué piece incorporating a fabric print donated by June Wilson of Lilly Patches in Boronia. They were also given a Jinny Beyer blender to use if they liked. Here is a sample of what you will see at the show.
