We had a very relaxed meeting this month, perhaps it was all the feel good endorphins released with the little chocolate eggs that accompanied the usual cuppa before the meeting. Our guest speaker and April Workshop tutor Irene Blanck was so laid back she let us into a lot of secrets about her quilts. Her trunk show was thoroughly inspiring.

The Gift Quilts displayed at the meeting came with stories. The first one was quilted by Margaret who has become so skilled with machine quilting that she needed a challenge. The middle one was a donation of eight blocks, so the hearts in the middle were created to finish the quilt.
The April Meeting also falls on a public holiday. It will be a Sit and Sew providing ample opportunity for members to make the finishing touches to their quilts for our Quilt Show.
