Over forty members had a most enjoyable weekend retreat at Forest Edge, Neerim East. There is nothing better than being able to sew in a beautiful setting with like minded friends, untroubled by domestic chores or work pressures. This year’s theme was seen in the Dresden Plate challenge blocks and of course the finery on display at the Saturday evening dinner. After dinner entertainment included poetry readings and old time games of hookey, marbles and hop scotch.
