Jo Lawrence has been a Waverley member for over a decade and this is her first time in the Merchant’s Mall. She started quilting in 1991 and now runs the online and studio quilting business Made Studio Textiles. Specialising in English Paper Piecing and needle turn appliqué, Jo’s techniques and products aim to minimise preparation time so you can spend more time sewing. No more tacking, glueing or starching of seam allowances.
Nothing is better than seeing the finished article, so there will be samples and quilts to demonstrate what can be achieved and how to do it. At the show Jo will have pre-cut heat-sensitive paper templates and paper packs for cutting your own shapes; acrylic fussy cutting templates; threads and notions.
