Life on the Reef by Linda
Congratulations to our President, Linda Steele on the acceptance of her quilt Life on the Reef into the Brenda Gael Smith curated exhibition Time – Exploring the 4th Dimension. Linda is one of 32 artists selected. You can find the full list at Brenda’s blog Serendipity and the art of the quilt.
This exhibition is the third travelling exhibition organised by Brenda Gael Smith, the first two Beneath the Southern Sky 2011 – 2013 and Living Colour! 2013 – 2015 were enormously successful. This new exhibition will be seen in Sydney, Brisbane, the Australian Quilt Convention in Melbourne, then off to New Zealand and other far off places.
Linda made this piece in just three weeks, although she tells us she did little else in that time.
