Lisa Walton is coming to Waverley

Everyone who has done a workshop with 542785_444488005628008_1481701311_nLisa agrees that she is inspirational. Not only that she is makes sure everyone has fun, and that is what workshops are for, to have fun. We are very lucky to have Lisa teach her two day Permission to Play workshop on the weekend of March 21 and 22.

There are still a couple of places, so if you are not a Waverley member you get a chance to do this workshop. The cost is $120 plus a $35 materials fee to Lisa. Just email info@waverleypatchworkers.com.au for more details

Here is what Lisa says about the workshop.fabrics 500

This is a workshop where we play with all sorts of surface design techniques such as fabric paintings, stamping, sun printing, fabric manipulation, rubbing, oil sticks, leaf printing, screen printing and anything else we can fit in during the two days. I supply all the fabrics and equipment so you don’t need to buy anything and it’s a great opportunity to just play and become comfortable with lots of great techniques with no stress.

Lisa will also be our guest speaker at our Monday 23 March meeting.
